Bad customer service and hidden info!

I will share my honest opinion here. I booked this non-refundable hotel on booking.com. After booking, I received the following information from the hotel: - The bed is obviously a small double bed 130 cm wide. - Towels and soap are not included (this is mentioned on booking listing but the actual cost is not). To have a bigger bed and towels, you have to pay 35 EUR/day extra. - Check-in is impossible after 10 pm although during my booking, I made a special request for late check-in (since it was possible to check-in till midnight according to booking.com for an extra fee and after discussing this with the hotel). Once I received the e-mail concerning the additional paid options and check-in rules, I pointed out to the hotel that it's not fair not to put all this information before the reservation. Not doing so is hidden information (I have proof that this information did not appear before booking, even though the hotel insists that it did). If I had been aware of all these paid options beforehand and the check-in rules, I certainly wouldn't have booked. This probably offended the hotel, which simply made me understand that these are options and I don't need to take them, and besides that, check-in closes at 8pm (ignoring my special request). I called the hotel and they hung up on me. I called booking customer service, and the person I spoke to agreed with me that there was a slight lack of transparency in the listing, so even though the booking was non-refundable, they would make an exceptional request for a free cancellation. The hotel ignored the request (the money has to come in of course) yet they sent me a multitude of emails in parallel. In the end, I couldn't check in and of course after midnight, the hotel told booking.com that I didn't show up. This is my terrible experience with this hotel. We all work hard to earn money, so it's completely unfair to have such practices.

We love this Guess house. Clean, well located and friendly staff. The most important thing was the good communication between the guess and the staff. Always ready to help you. Location was very good, plenty of restaurants around and close to amenities. One word I ❤️ this place and I will recommend it.

Domus RomAntica is situated not far from the beautiful historic centre of Rome, away from all the bustle but close enough to enjoy it at your own pace. The B&B is a small family run business, with the manager, Claudia, going out of her way to make sure her guests have a pleasant stay. Not only are they flexible, but they are friendly, approachable, and most of all great hosts. The rooms are impeccably clean and they offer a change of bed sheets and towels as often as is needed. While there is no breakfast on site, there is a charming Italian style cafe next door that can be offered with the room, and who provide delicious espressos as well as tasty breads. Would recommend highly to anyone who wishes to visit Rome and to have a piece of home on their holiday! 5 stars!!

We were led to believe that this is a hotel. It’s not. When were told at the desk that it’s a B&B, we laughed later on. And he’s why. The breakfast is not a breakfast. You go downstairs to the cafe next door and you get a cup of coffee, a glass of juice and a croissant. Not what we paid for, by any means. Ultimately, room was comfortable, clean and tidy. However, there is no coffee making facilities,which is a bit of a deal breaker for me. The place did the job. But never going back.

This B&B is located only 10-15 min walking from Termini station and around 20 min from Spanish steps. It was a bit hard to find it, since it's actually a big flat divided into several rooms within the residential building. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast was poor.
